Matthew Robertson secured the RFC Bantamweight Amateur Title with a brilliant inverted triangle submission against Antonio Hernandez, earning the Fight of the Night honors in this thrilling encounter. The culmination of the event saw Robert Casper claim the RFC Bantamweight Title with a dramatic KO, proving his dominance in a high-stakes battle.

Fight 1
Trey Hardy (Blue Corner) vs Gavin Melancon (Red Corner)
Melancon opens with a flying kick and begins aggressively striking. A teep kick from Hardy lands hard, knocking Melancon down. He survives the referee’s count, however, and takes the initiative. Hardy smoothly dodges Melancon’s attacks, and Melancon tumbles into the fence. They clinch, but no one gets the advantage, so the referee separates them. Hardy lands a head kick, but Melancon responds with a solid hook. Hardy lands a sidekick but Melancon pushes through it. Hardy escapes but begins to look tired. Melancon traps him against the cage and pours on punches, knocking Hardy down. Hardy survives the count, but when they resume, Melancon is relentless, backing Hardy against the cage and landing a hard knee to his liver, dropping him and prompting the referee to end the fight. Fight 2
Byron Walker (Blue Corner) vs Julius Johnson (Red Corner)
Both fighters start slowly, feeling each other out. Johnson throws hard first, throwing some body kicks, a few punches, then he shoots. Walker defends with under hooks as they clench against the cage. Johnson wants to trip or sweep, but Walker defends well, throwing knees to Johnson’s midsection. Johnson finally earns the takedown and some ground and pound, but Walker scrambles back up. They clinch again, but when they break, Melancon lands a solid right hand to Walker‘s chin. Walker falls backwards, Johnson pounces, and Walker turtles until the referee stops the fight. Julius Johnson by TKO.
Fight 3
John Morrison (Blue Corner) vs Daniel Betts (Red Corner)
Betts comes out more aggressive with high kicks. Morrison doesn’t back down and throws his own high kicks in response. They exchange hard right hands. Betts tries another kick, but Morrison catches it and traps Betts against the fence. They begin grappling for position, and Morrison lands the sweep first. He gains side control and smoothly transitions to mount. Betts tries to escape, but Morrison takes his back and begins trying for a rare naked choke. Betts defends well as the round winds down, but Morrison cinches it with 10 seconds left and gets the tap. John Morrison by Submission (RNC).

Fight 4
Lamar Nunnery (Blue Corner) vs Mateo Peterson (Red Corner)
Nunnery begins by throwing hard strikes, making Peterson backpedal. He tries to return fire, but Nunnery’s punches keep getting through. Peterson successfully shoots for a takedown. Nunnery tries defending, but Peterson methodically advances from side control to half mount to full mount. Nunnery turtles and Peterson pours on hammer fists until the ref stops the fight. Fight 5
Brenden Banks (Blue Corner) vs Dequan Turner (Red Corner)
Both fighters begin with feints to set the pace of the fight. After a few solid punches, Turner throws a flying knee. He misses, and Banks scrambles from behind and takes Turner to the mat. Banks maintains positional control for the rest of the round, slowly moving himself to posture up and begin some ground and pound when the bell sounds.
Turner begins the second round by keeping Banks at a distance with kicks. Turner throws a few punches, but Banks slips them, shoots, and slams Turner down, landing in his guard. Turner threatens the triangle from the bottom. While Banks defends, Turner slips out from the bottom, takes Banks’s back, and sinks in a rear naked choke. Dequan Turner by Submission (RNC).
Fight 6
Alex Mundell (Blue Corner) vs Bradley Landry (Red Corner)
The fighters touch gloves then immediately trade punches. Both land hard strikes and take turns stunning each other. Landry stalks Mundell across the cage and shoots for a takedown. Mundell dodges and Landry slips to the mat, but Mundell motions for him to stand back up. They exchange more strikes until Mundell lands a knee to the abdomen from the clinch. Landry defends and shoots, slowly working Mundell to the ground. Mundell reverses and sinks in a choke, but can’t force the tap before the round ends.
Landry begins the second round by barnstorming out his corner. Mundell fights back just as intensely. Landry tries to trip Mundell, but Mundell secures underhooks and pushes Landry away. Mundell tries a spinning backfist, but Landry ducks under and pins Mundell against the fence. Mundell secures a clinch and begins landing knees to the face. Landry, bloodied, hits the mat and the referee stops the fight. Alex Mundell by TKO.

Fight 7
Michael Taylor (Blue Corner) vs Kameron Alexander (Red Corner)
Both fighters start aggressive, clenching and fighting for underhooks against the cage. Alexander traps a leg but can’t quite find a submission. They scramble, Taylor tries for a guillotine but can’t secure it, and they break. Both fighters throw hard strikes, and Alexander eventually forces Taylor back, takes him down, and tries to choke him until the end of the round.
Round two begins with both fighters reinvigorated and swinging hard. They clinch and fight for underhooks gain. Taylor sprawls and tries to take Alexander’s back. When Alexander tries to stand back up, Taylor trips him, but Alexander reverses into side control then moves to half-mount. He attempts an arm triangle but can’t secure it. Taylor stands up, but Alexander slams him back down. However, Taylor catches him in a guillotine and squeezes, but Alexander is saved by the end of the round.
Taylor starts the third round swinging hard, but Alexander lands a big knee. Taylor lands an uppercut, Alexander shoots, Taylor sprawls, and Alexander starts fighting to take his back. Taylor reverses into half-mount and starts twisting for a rear naked choke. Alexander spins into guard, then half-guard then takes Taylor’s back and throws knees to the body. Taylor tries to stand, but Alexander takes him back down, and they stay clinched against the fence until the end. A close, hard-fought fight! Kameron Alexander by Split Decision.
Fight 8
Timothy Ferriss (Blue Corner) vs Andrew Lavergne (Red Corner)
Ferriss darts to the center of the cage and chases down Lavergne. Lavergne shoots, and they hit the ground in a scramble. Lavergne looks for a triangle choke, then switches to an inverted triangle, quickly securing it and earning the submission. Andrew Lavergne by Submission (Triangle).
Fight 9
Reginald Chapman (Blue Corner) vs Ethan Wood (Red Corner)
Both fighters come out throwing heavy hands and tangle on the fence. Chapman breaks the action and backs Wood up with hard straight shots. They clinch again and fight for underhooks. Wood lands a few knees before they break again. Chapman walks him down, Wood tries to shoot, but Chapman sprawls and holds Wood against the fence until the horn.
The second round starts with Chapman landing several jabs, but Wood surges back. They tangle against the fence. Wood lands a knee and escapes. Chapman lands a hard kick followed by several knees from the clinch. Wood tries to throw a knee, but Chapman catches it and almost dumps him to the mat. They exchange a few more punches before the round ends.
Wood starts the third round tired but still fighting back. Chapman slips the punches, grabs Wood, and slams him. Wood stands back up, but Chapman slams him again and throws short head punches until the referee stops the fight. Reginald Chapman by TKO.

Fight 10
Melancon and Ketchum (Blue Corner) vs Reed and Kinzer (Red Corner)
The most unique fight of the night was a tag-team jiu-jitsu match. The grappling was a mad dash for the entire 8-minute round, and the tags provided an entertaining twist. Multiple submission attempts were interrupted by a well-timed tag, and both teams worked the cage well, trying to keep their opponents away from their teammate to prevent tagging in a fresher grappler. Ultimately, the red team won, earning the only submission of the match.
Fight 11
Tyler Reed (Blue Corner) vs James Miller (Red Corner)
Reed starts aggressive, rocking Miller, and Miller clenches against the cage. Reed throws several knees to the body. Miller makes some distance and lands a hard kick. Reed shrugs it off and knocks Miller down. Reed lands in Miller’s guard, but Miller goes for an armbar. Reed defends and lands several heavy punches to Miller’s head and body, finishing the round in half guard.
At the start of round two, Reed lands an uppercut. Miller hits back and sends Reed stumbling with a body kick. Miller presses his advantage, not giving Reed time to recover. Miller shoots again, but Reed sprawls and lands short body shots. They stand up, and Reed drops Miller hard. Miller clinches to survive, but Reed lands headshots at will until the referee steps in, becoming the new RFC Amateur Heavyweight Champion. Tyler Reed by TKO.
Fight 12
Antonio Hernandez (Blue Corner) vs Matthew Robertson (Red Corner)
Intense stare down pre-fight fan kicks slow steady opening. Robertson keeps distance with kicks, but Hernandez lands a hard body kick. Robertson slips on a kick, and Hernandez pounces, landing in half guard. He starts a guillotine but releases it to maintain dominant position. They scramble, and Robertson pins Hernandez to the fence. They break and exchange a flurry of strikes. Hernandez sweeps Robertson, but Robertson scrambles and takes his back. He attempts a rear naked choke but can’t finish before the end of the round.
Round two begins with each fighter feeling the other out. Robertson traps Hernandez along the fence and attempts a jumping knee. Hernandez uses that opening to take down Robertson, who reverses into guard. Robertson works his way on top and begins his ground and pound attack. Hernandez defends well with active guard work, but Robertson mounts him, then takes his back as round two ends.
Robertson smiles as round three starts, but Hernandez is completely focused. After trading low kicks, Hernandez clips Robertson, who regains his composure and lands a head kick. They exchange hard knees in the clinch, wrestling along the cage. Robertson trips Hernandez and takes his back, working constant short punches to the head. Robertson hunts for a submission while Hernandez gamely defends until the horn.
In the first championship round, Robertson shoots right away, but Hernandez catches him in a guillotine but lets it go for better positioning. Robertson sweeps from underneath. In the ensuing burst of action, Robertson locks an inverted triangle for the tap. Both fighters earned Fight of the Night bonuses, but only one could walk away with the RFC Bantamweight Amateur Title. Matthew Robertson by Submission (Inverted Triangle).

Fight 13
Elijah Brantley (Blue Corner) vs Vance Shaw (Red Corner)
Shaw shoots right away, causing a mad scramble, and Brantley escapes. Shaw shoots again, Brantley defends in the clinch, so Shaw leaps for a guillotine choke. He can’t hold it, and Brantley shrugs him off, landing several knees to Shaw’s body before escaping. Shaw swings wildly, shoots, and finally takes Brantley down. Brantley works hard to escape, but Shaw sees an opening and locks in a guillotine choke. Vance Shaw by Submission (Guillotine).
Fight 14
Nakia Brown (Blue Corner) vs Elliot Herbert (Red Corner)
The fighters start by trading leg kicks. Herbert presses forward early. Brown shoots but from too far out, and Herbert scrambles on top. Brown grabs a leg and fights for ankle lock. Brown cranks the joint lock, but Herbert eventually escapes into half-mount. They scramble again, and Herbert tries to secure a guillotine. When Brown escapes, Herbert switches to mount, traps Brown, and rains down elbows for the finish. Elliot Herbert by TKO.
Fight 15
Jason Slaydon (Blue Corner) vs Eric Scallan (Red Corner)
Scallan throws hard low kicks to start. Slaydon tries to catch one, but Scallan slips out. He shoots, but Slaydon sprawls and attempts a guillotine. They clinch, and Scallan takes Slaydon down, but Slaydon is flexible enough to defend. Scallan wants Slaydon’s back, but he defends to a stalemate. Scallan knees his thighs, but Slaydon escapes and reverses, lands on top, and unleashes his ground and pound. Scallan stumbles back to his corner as the round ends.
The second and third rounds are similar, with Scallan on the offense and Slaydon using just enough defense to fend off submissions. During their last striking exchanges, Scallan drops Slaydon and takes his back. Slaydon turtles while Scallan throws short punches until the end of the fight. Eric Scallan by unanimous decision.
Fight 16
Robert Casper (Blue Corner) vs Aaron Phillips (Red Corner)
Phillips and Casper start by circling each other, throwing a few jabs to feel each other out, and Phillips connects with a solid body kick, but Casper refuses to back down. Phillips charges forward, Casper sidesteps and catches Phillips with a left hook just enough to wobble him into the fence. Casper pounces, catching him again with a right hook. Phillips tries to escape, but Casper connects with another pair of heavy hooks, sending Phillips to the canvas and winning the RFC Bantamweight Title. Robert Casper by KO.
